Oh… You are going to miss it when it is gone.<\/p>\n

I drove down the road this morning… And saw the green.\u00a0 Fields and fields of green.\u00a0 Splashed against the backdrop of the bluest sky.<\/p>\n

Everything is green, and yellow, and pink, and purple.\u00a0 And blue.\u00a0 So very colorful.\u00a0 And I love it.<\/p>\n

This afternoon….The heat was incredible and intense.\u00a0 I loved that too.\u00a0 Several times today… I would just stand outside… to soak it in.<\/p>\n

You see.\u00a0 This past winter, the weather was miserable, by my estimations.\u00a0 But\u00a0 I gritted my teeth.. … and held on.\u00a0 I knew…\u00a0 that somewhere in the future… there would be heat.\u00a0 Hot scorchy heat..on a really green day.\u00a0 The kind..the when you look at the pavement…you can see the invisible wavy lines rising from the surface.<\/p>\n

And wouldn’t you know.\u00a0 Here it was.\u00a0 We haven’t had too many sizzling days this summer.\u00a0 Not too many at all.\u00a0 So I am drinking them in while they are here.\u00a0\u00a0 And soaking them up.<\/p>\n

Just like bees soak up the nectar to make honey.<\/p>\n

Yep.\u00a0 I am going to bask in the heat as much as I can.\u00a0 I’m going to miss it when it is gone.\u00a0 I’m going to miss the green too.\u00a0 I wish I could store it up… And away.\u00a0 Like the bees do with honey.<\/p>\n

Soon it will be winter.\u00a0 All we will know is gray for months on end.\u00a0 I’ll grit my teeth again… And hang on until things cycle around .\u00a0 Just like they do.\u00a0 Again and again and again.\u00a0 I know we should be happy… For the moments we are in.\u00a0\u00a0 But in the winter, it always makes me sad to see those bees with their little ear muffs on.<\/p>\n
