There’s no business… like Show Business!
\nAnd… The Show Must Go On!<\/p>\n

Boy oh boy.\u00a0 I get excited when I hear this is some kind of a Show.<\/p>\n

Really…. any kind of shows.\u00a0 I love a good magic show.\u00a0 Or Broadway play.\u00a0 I find great delight in seeing the old Song and Dance Routine.\u00a0 And how about a Horse and Pony Show?\u00a0 (I hear people say that all the time…. but I’ve never actually seen a Horse and Pony Show.)<\/p>\n

Tonight… we decided to go to the Car Show.\u00a0 In Downtown Eaton.\u00a0 Imagine my anticipation.\u00a0 I have never seen cars do much…. but move along down the street.\u00a0 Surely… since this was a show… it would be different.\u00a0 But what?\u00a0 What could it be?\u00a0 I swear… I could hardly wait.<\/p>\n

Could it be singing and dancing cars?\u00a0 Neat-o maneuvers?\u00a0 Maybe they would fly up ramps, and jump over other cars?\u00a0 I was so excited at the prospects.\u00a0 Like the movie Cars… maybe.\u00a0 Those Cars could TALK!<\/p>\n

Alas.\u00a0 When we arrived… there were tons of\u00a0 incredibly cool cars.. … sparkly & shiny…. old & new.\u00a0 But they were all parked… lined up and down Main Street…. so carefully and neatly arranged.<\/p>\n

I didn’t want to look like a dummy …. so I didn’t ask.\u00a0 Apparently we had just missed all the excitement… the biggest show of shows.\u00a0 I thought it went from 4 to 8 pm.\u00a0 We were there in plenty of time… I thought.<\/p>\n

Clearly those cars had done what ever it was…… they were there to do.\u00a0 Because now they were at rest…. some of them so tired… they even had their hoods propped open.\u00a0 Their owners were all rubbing them with towels and such…. like they were giving them car-massages.\u00a0 It must have been something to see.<\/p>\n

Yep.\u00a0 A day late and a dollar short.\u00a0 So… we just sort of sauntered up and down the street… and looked at those cars.\u00a0 And those cars looked back.<\/p>\n

Even though we must have missed the grandest of performances…. we had a great time just admiring the aftereffects.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 I like a good residual…. every now and again.<\/p>\n
