Today\u2026 my little mood module\u2026 felt like a roller coaster.\u00a0 Up one minute and down the next.<\/p>\n

It was reminiscent to the feeling you get before biting into an Esther Price chocolate.\u00a0 You don\u2019t know what the filling is\u2026 but you are extremely excited for the prospect of a Vanilla Butter Cream.\u00a0 And in an instant\u2026 you realize you have landed the Chocolate Covered Brazil Nut.\u00a0 And your heart sinks like the Holy Submarine.<\/p>\n

I was trying hard not to be irritable today. But it Mr. Irascible kept knocking at my forehead door.<\/p>\n

And you know\u2026 all things told\u2026 today was quite fun.\u00a0 All along the way\u2026 I felt loved and blessed.<\/p>\n

We did lots of great nature watching\u2026.\u00a0 visited a friend up in the north\u2026 picked up a really cool old camera\u2026. fixed lots of delicious food\u2026 worked around the house\u2026 and had one heck of a cookout tonight with the family.\u00a0 But Peevish Polly kept trying to sneak out\u2026 and play.<\/p>\n

Tonight when it was all said and done, I still felt a case of the Crankies coming on.
\nHoly Smokes I hope it isn\u2019t hormonal.<\/p>\n

But then\u2026\u2026\u00a0 THEN there was the sky.\u00a0 An hour earlier\u2026 the sky was gray and solid.\u00a0 It looked sad too.\u00a0 But the heavens opened up.\u00a0 The rain fell like tears from a Soap Opera Diva.\u00a0 It poured.\u00a0 It splashed.\u00a0 It washed away.<\/p>\n

And when it stopped, the sky became filled with the colors a the spectrum\u2026.\u00a0 like a big bag of Skittles.\u00a0 It was filled with light and beauty.<\/p>\n

Oh yes.\u00a0 There is something about looking up into the vastness, and the power of the sky\u2026 the infinite\u2026 the unending possibilities that await us.\u00a0\u00a0 The majesty in that color.<\/p>\n

Oh\u2026 to breathe deep and let it all just be\u2026 exactly as it should be.<\/p>\n

That is where the peace is\u2026 I think.\u00a0 That is where those ups and downs\u2026. seem to even out.\u00a0 When we let ourselves just be.\u00a0 In this place, and time\u2026 exactly as it should.<\/p>\n

Sure enough.\u00a0 The peace was with me.\u00a0 And it felt good.\u00a0 Except \u2026. of course\u2026. for the fact that I had a powerful craving for a bag of Skittles.<\/p>\n
