I talked with an entire slew of people\u2026 each with a different story.<\/p>\n<p>From the direct descendant of a Chickamauga Cherokee Indian who had a joyful heart \u2026. to a young boy who\u2019s favorite president was Abraham Lincoln, because Abe helped free the slaves\u2026.. to a Trapeze Artist who loved to fly.<\/p>\n<p>I learned stories about people who had been in prison, others who painted old cars, some who knew all about wild animals, and still others who sang in a choir.<\/p>\n<p>I met people who knew how to do things\u2026 like make cotton candy, run restaurants,\u00a0 and construct balloon animals while on stilts.<\/p>\n<p>There were people who just wanted to talk about how good ice-cream tastes, and others who liked historical stories.<\/p>\n<p>And\u2026 there were a lot of people helping people.\u00a0 Which is probably the best story of all.<\/p>\n<p>Yes\u2026 each person had something to say\u2026. about something.\u00a0\u00a0 I learned a lot\u2026 just by listening.<\/p>\n<p>So.\u00a0 No matter what YOUR story is\u2026. it is good and worthy and true.\u00a0 They are the words in your heart and you know them.\u00a0 Live those stories well\u2026.\u00a0 and someone will learn from them.\u00a0 From you.<\/p>\n<p>And above all\u2026. eat ice cream.\u00a0 On stilts\u2026 if you feel up for it.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>\u201cReally great people make you feel that you, too, can become great.\u201d &#8211;\u00a0 \u00a0Mark Twain<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Everybody has a story.\u00a0 It is true.
