Today, I was struck.\u00a0 Be at ease.\u00a0 Don\u2019t get exited.<\/p>\n

I wasn\u2019t struck by fist, or by lighting, or vehicle.\u00a0 My sensibility was struck.<\/p>\n

So if you don\u2019t mind me doing so, I\u2019d like to share a few of these strikings.<\/p>\n

Bad Decisions.<\/em><\/span>
\nDown in Louisiana, a man was out with three friends.\u00a0 They had been drinking\u2026 apparently a lot.\u00a0 I am not sure if they were walking or operating a vehicle, but they happened across an 11-foot alligator in the road.\u00a0\u00a0 The gentleman decided to drag it out of traffic.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Well, the aforementioned\u00a0 alligator had different plans.\u00a0 The thing railed around and bit the guy. On the hand.\u00a0 Hard.\u00a0 Eighty-stitches hard.<\/p>\n

They man told officials…. the next time, he will call Animal Rescue.\u00a0 Yep.\u00a0 He said the next time.\u00a0 Like I pointed out \u2026. this happened in Louisiana.<\/p>\n

Yellow-Carded.<\/em><\/span>
\nFox News staple Ann Coulter recently wrote a column arguing that “any growing interest in soccer can only be a sign of the nation’s moral decay.”\u00a0 Now, I have heard it all out of Coulter\u2019s mouth.\u00a0 (Coulter’s case against soccer is pretty far-reaching: it’s “foreign,” you can’t use your hands, liberal moms like it,\u00a0 and on and on.)\u00a0 Shear decadence, I\u2019ll tell you.<\/p>\n

Honest to goodness.\u00a0 Should this woman be reporting the \u201cnews\u201d for anyone?\u00a0 I think someone needs to test her for mental competence.\u00a0 If you are a fan of Coulter\u2019s \u2026 please share your comments, and perhaps, help me understand.<\/p>\n

Being Four.<\/em><\/span>
\nI went to Titus\u2019 4th Birthday party tonight.\u00a0 Kids are just so dang expressive.\u00a0 That is all there is to it.\u00a0 If they are happy, or sad, or excited, or upset\u2026 YOU know it.\u00a0 Right away.\u00a0 They don\u2019t mask it.\u00a0 They don\u2019t hide.\u00a0 If it hurt, they cry.\u00a0 If it is funny, they laugh.\u00a0 Kids just wear it on their faces\u2026 as plain as the day is long.<\/p>\n

Somewhere along the line, we start filtering this\u2026 as older kids\u2026 and then adults.\u00a0 Some of us have WAY more masks than others.\u00a0 I like it when kids completely put it out there.\u00a0 No holds barred.<\/p>\n

Great Idea.<\/em><\/span>
\nEvery time I see the GE commercial, I love it more and more.\u00a0 The little girl is with various scenes, and says things like\u2026 my Mom makes trains who are friends with trees.\u00a0 My Mom builds hospitals that can fit in your hand.\u00a0 (Her Mom does a TON of other things in the commercial\u2026 and it doesn\u2019t matter if it is a Mom or a Dad\u2026. they are tremendously cool things.)\u00a0\u00a0 And. She finishes with\u2026 \u201cMy Mom works at GE.\u201d<\/p>\n

One of their observations \u2026 \u201cWe imagine a better world and we make it come true.\u201d<\/p>\n

This is total genius.<\/em><\/p>\n

They speak to their role in their\u00a0 research and development, and things scientific which help the world<\/p>\n

But what would happen if this was EVERYONE\u2019S \u201cCatch-Phrase\u201d?\u00a0 But specifically to our talents, and our resources, and our abilities?\u00a0 What if we all used this to move through each day?<\/p>\n

\u201cWe imagine a better world and we make it come true.\u201d<\/p>\n

Yep. I have to say it.\u00a0 \u201cWhat IF?\u201d<\/p>\n
