Today, I had one of those \u201cI am kicking butt and taking names\u201d kind of days.\u00a0 I was on some sort of \u201cget \u2018er done\u201d rampage today.\u00a0 It was like Steven Covey had knocked me on the forehead with his 7-Habit-Wand and made me incredibly effective.<\/p>\n

Yep. I had a productive day\u2026 in other words.<\/p>\n

Not only was I making lists and checking them twice, but I was crossing off every dang item on those twice-baked inventories.\u00a0 And it was a wide range of things.\u00a0 From household chores, to fix-it projects, to work items, and online tasks for numerous people.<\/p>\n

So there you have it.\u00a0 Somebody gave me the Energizer Bunny High-Test Coffee this morning, I suppose.<\/p>\n

Now there are times, when I get sidetracked.\u00a0 I loathe those days\u2026 especially when I feel that I am hopelessly ambling from one thing to the next.<\/p>\n

You know how it goes.\u00a0 Six hours later\u2026.. when you end up on the roof\u2026. taking measurements for an idea you had\u2026 to construct a helipad up there\u2026 for the newly purchase iPad-controlled-helicopter\u2026. WHICH you bought while you were online at Amazon\u2026. because you really were buying a cool pair of flip-flops\u2026 WHICH popped up in a sidebar ad while you were on the site.\u00a0 You initially went there to shop for ink refills for the printer.. because earlier in the day\u2026. you tried to print out a copy of your driver\u2019s license\u2026 which you need to send in for the registration you are filling out for your next vacation to Iceland\u2026 WHICH came up when you were taking out the garbage and you saw a package of Icelandia Fish Sticks in the trash\u2026 and it reminded you.\u00a0\u00a0 All of this started when you were walking through the kitchen to look up some medical information for your brother\u2026 who was on the phone\u2026\u00a0 assskinnnng yoooouuu\u00a0 forrrr\u2026 OH MY GOSH\u2026 MY brother is on the PHONE!!!<\/p>\n

Yes, that happens to me pretty frequently.\u00a0 BUT.\u00a0 My day was not like that at all.\u00a0 But very well put together, instead.<\/p>\n

Thank goodness for the Effective-Fairy.<\/p>\n
