{"id":1191,"date":"2014-06-18T23:43:07","date_gmt":"2014-06-19T03:43:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gollypolly.com\/30473\/?p=1191"},"modified":"2014-06-20T00:05:11","modified_gmt":"2014-06-20T04:05:11","slug":"the-big-reveal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gollypolly.com\/30473\/?p=1191","title":{"rendered":"The big reveal."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/gollypolly.com\/30473\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/nannytitius.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1192\" src=\"https:\/\/gollypolly.com\/30473\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/nannytitius.jpg\" alt=\"nannytitius\" width=\"700\" height=\"526\" srcset=\"https:\/\/gollypolly.com\/30473\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/nannytitius.jpg 700w, https:\/\/gollypolly.com\/30473\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/nannytitius-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>There are times in our lives when we have revelations.<\/p>\n<p>Truly.<\/p>\n<p>A revelation is\u00a0 a surprising and previously unknown fact\u2026. especially\u00a0 some sort of fact that is made known in a dramatic way.<\/p>\n<p>Or on an entirely different level\u2026. it is\u00a0 the divine or supernatural disclosure to\u00a0 we \u201cunsuspecting\u201d humans\u2026.\u00a0 of something relating to our human existence\u2026 or maybe even something about the world.<\/p>\n<p>A big dang surprise.<\/p>\n<p>Or revelations can come in many shapes, sizes, and forms.\u00a0 In ways we never see coming.\u00a0 Hence, the revelation.<\/p>\n<p>Sometimes, they are life-altering.\u00a0 Having an angelic experience, or brushing against a supernatural event.\u00a0\u00a0 Or it could be something as simple as figuring out a way to fix the toilet handle.<\/p>\n<p>When we are little, we have a LOT more revelations, I think.\u00a0 We find out things about getting older.<\/p>\n<p>Take for instance, the photo above.\u00a0 Little Titus gets a glimpse at Nanny\u2019s meeting schedule for the next day.\u00a0 He was astounded.\u00a0 His little brain raced\u2026..\u00a0\u00a0 he didn&#8217;t see a THING about long lunches with lots of chocolate milk&#8230;&#8230; or time on the big playground.\u00a0 Not anything about nap time with his blankey. \u00a0 ANYWHERE!\u00a0 The terror of becoming a grown up hit the poor kid like a brick.<\/p>\n<p>But we assured him\u2026. \u201cDon\u2019t worry little Titus.\u00a0\u00a0 Getting older doesn&#8217;t mean you have to be serious and busy all the time.\u00a0 But if you do want to GROW UP&#8230; it is a good thing to keep learning&#8230; something new each day.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>\u201cYou have to do your own growing no matter how tall your grandfather was.\u201d\u00a0 &#8211;\u00a0\u00a0 Abraham Lincoln<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There are times in our lives when we have revelations.
