Communication.\u00a0 Now\u2026. that is quite a subject isn\u2019t it?\u00a0 It is how we humans interact.\u00a0 And everyone else for that matter.<\/p>\n

It is basically\u2026. the imparting or exchanging of information or news.\u00a0 Ducks quacking back and forth.\u00a0 Dandelions nodding to one another.\u00a0 Bob, ordering a Big Mac and Large Fries at the drive-thru speaker.<\/p>\n

Yabba Dabba Doo.<\/p>\n

There are all sorts of communication too.\u00a0 Verbal and Non-Verbal.\u00a0 Honest and Dishonest.\u00a0 Good and Bad.\u00a0 Effective and Ineffective.\u00a0 Funny and Serious.\u00a0 Oh\u2026 it goes on and on.<\/p>\n

Today\u2026 I have added another form to the list.\u00a0\u00a0 Polly Communications and the rest of the World\u2019s.<\/p>\n

Yep. It has been one of those days where speaking and hearing have been a real problem for me.\u00a0 I\u2019ve struggled with it all day long.<\/p>\n

It seems like people are trying to speak with me\u2026 logically\u2026 and in English.\u00a0 Like they are trying to tell me something.\u00a0 But it has gotten lost in translation several times over the day.\u00a0 The same is true in reverse.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve had a few stumbling blocks\u2026 when attempting to impart or exchange information or news.<\/p>\n

Thankfully for me\u2026 the people who matter the most\u2026 have been patient\u2026 and understanding.\u00a0 They know my mojo is off\u2026 just by looking at me.\u00a0 Or more succinctly\u2026 by listening to me.<\/p>\n

Maybe I make it all too complicated. I read too much into things.\u00a0 Or get my feelings hurt too easily.\u00a0 Or I just worry too much.\u00a0 Who knows.\u00a0 But I need a simpler approach.\u00a0 I know that for sure.<\/p>\n

Trying to communicate today had been\u2026 well\u2026 atrocious.
\nIf I were a cow\u2026 it would be udderly impossible.
\nOr a grape\u2026 my communications would have soured.
\nA fighter plane\u2026 it would have bombed.
\nAnd a car\u2026 my interactions would be backfiring.<\/p>\n

Nothing has gone from point A to point B for me\u2026 not even as close as the letter Y.<\/p>\n

I drove by a beautiful farm today.\u00a0 It seemed quiet.\u00a0 Straightforward.\u00a0 I imagined that communication is much simpler there.\u00a0 Especially when it comes to the exchanging of information.
\n\u201cI\u2019m heading out to milk the cows.\u201d
\n\u201cOK\u201d
\n\u2026. or\u2026perhaps \u2026.
\n\u201cYou left the barn door open.\u201d
\n\u201cOK\u201d<\/p>\n

Take this field, for example.\u00a0 Do you know how one bale greets the other bale?
\nIt says\u2026.. \u201cHey.\u201d
\nAnd the other one says right back.
\n\u201cHey.\u201d<\/p>\n

And tonight… I sit here hoping… and wishing… for something as simple as a… Hey Day.<\/p>\n

But truthfully…… …. I better wrap this up tonight\u2026. before I say something I don\u2019t really mean.
