Okay.\u00a0 My little hands are shaking tonight.\u00a0 Ginormous hands, actually….\u00a0 Bu no matter.\u00a0 I can\u2019t write.<\/p>\n

Well.\u00a0 Maybe a little.\u00a0 I was going to tell you all about this great and wonderful Memorial Day\u2026. which capped off a truly fun and VERY active weekend.<\/p>\n

I mean\u2026 today alone.\u00a0 Holy Smackerels.\u00a0 What a day at the races.<\/p>\n

I saved a little toadish-frogish-toad.\u00a0 He was trying to hop around poolside,\u00a0 while I cleaned out the main filter system.\u00a0 But his little webs were getting very hot on our stone tiles which cover the entire patio area.\u00a0 So he was walking along\u2026 picking up his little feet\u2026 you could almost hear him saying\u2026 \u201cOoooo Ooooooooo Ooooo.\u00a0 Ouch. Ouch.\u201d<\/p>\n

At any rate, I scooped him up and took him down by the pond.\u00a0 He complained about his aching webs the whole way.<\/p>\n

Later in the afteroon….\u00a0 there was a swim \/ pizza party with five of my favorite people in the world.\u00a0 Oh my goodness.\u00a0 What a splashing good time.\u00a0 And Vic Cassano did the pizza exactly right. During the evening \u2026 we took a gator ride down to the bridge and hunted for flat rocks.<\/p>\n

We found a bunch!\u00a0 And skipped some rocks too.<\/p>\n

But I can\u2019t write about any of this\u2026 and so much more.\u00a0 The things which smattered our weekend with tiny great blessings here and there.<\/p>\n

Tonight, as I sat down at the keyboard, I let the dogs out to pee one more time before beddie-bye.<\/p>\n

Well\u2026 Brutus the Raccoon came on the scene.\u00a0 What a horrible sounding melee. There was growling, barking, yipping, screaming, crying\u2026 \u2026.\u00a0 AND THEN you should have heard all the noises the dogs and the raccoon were making.<\/p>\n

At any rate, the beast got a hold of Ollie\u2026. at least it sounded that way.\u00a0 Mary and I took flight out the door, armed with a ball bat and a broom.\u00a0 We eventually got both dogs back in the house.\u00a0 But not without a big bunch of adrenaline-pumping excitement.<\/p>\n

Maxine was in the house.\u00a0 Deaf, and not seeing so well.\u00a0 She just sat in the middle of the living room\u2026 wondering where the hell everyone went.<\/p>\n

So as you can see\u2026 writing is out of the question tonight.\u00a0 Maybe I\u2019ll have something to say tomorrow.<\/p>\n
