I sure do like to learn knew things.\u00a0 As such, I read a lot of articles.\u00a0 The problem is\u2026 I am a slow reader.\u00a0 Heck.\u00a0\u00a0 I have to read things over and over again.\u00a0 I also get words and numbers mixed up.\u00a0 Part of this has been blamed on \u201cDyslexic Tendencies.\u201d<\/p>\n

But the article I read today stated that recent scientific evidence suggests there is no such thing as Dyslexia. (Source:\u00a0 The Dyslexia Debate, authored by Julian Elliott and Elena Grigorenko, is published by Cambridge University Press (2014).<\/p>\n

It seems a lot of the population is diagnosed this way.\u00a0 But the determination is incorrect.<\/p>\n

So now I am in a world of hurt about this.<\/p>\n

You see\u2026 here are some things that now I am worried about.<\/p>\n

I thought I had a really strong liking for COD.\u00a0 As it turns out\u2026 I am OCD.<\/p>\n

My friends are raising cows, and they purchased a new STEER.\u00a0 All along, I thought they bought a bunch of TREES.<\/p>\n

As a baby, I figured I would grow up to be a STARLET.\u00a0 Nope.\u00a0 I was just sitting around playing with RATTLES.<\/p>\n

Traffic.\u00a0 Now there is a problem for me.\u00a0 I get beeped at a lot.\u00a0 I like to buy gifts for my \u201cgreen thumb\u201d friends.\u00a0 So every time I see one of those big red POTS signs\u2026 I speed right through.\u00a0 I just discovered I should have made a STOP.<\/p>\n

More trouble in the shower.\u00a0 I have been shaving my TIPS for a lot of years.\u00a0 Now I find out.. I should have been shaving my PITS.\u00a0 Imagine the dismay.<\/p>\n

Speaking of hair, I thought it would by snappy to grow a BEARD.\u00a0 Nope.\u00a0 The truth of it is\u2026 I simply had a strong love for BREAD.<\/p>\n

I heard that taking afternoon NAPS is good for your health.\u00a0 But alas\u2026 I have been carrying around PANS during the midday hours.<\/p>\n

Last year\u2026 I tried to attend a SEMINAR.\u00a0 Instead, I signed up for the MARINES.<\/p>\n

In a parable I read a long time ago \u2026 they said those who are LAST shall be first.\u00a0 From that point on\u2026. I have been eating loads of SALT to try to get ahead.<\/p>\n

So\u00a0 my troubles\u2026 it seems.. cannot be blamed on Dyslexia.<\/p>\n

To sum it all up\u2026 I thought maybe I would need a \u201cmixed up\u201d 12 STEP Program. Instead, I came home with 21 PETS.<\/p>\n

Which leads me to this\u2026 I think there must be a power greater than ourselves\u2026. at work in this universe.\u00a0 A GOD if you will.\u00a0 At the same time \u2026. I believe in DOG.<\/p>\n

What on EARTH could it be?\u00a0 I suppose I am glad it is all in my head.. and not my HEART.<\/p>\n

And tonight\u2019s photo:\u00a0 I tried to capture a RAG on a FENCE.\u00a0 And I did.\u00a0 (Looks like I am making progress.)<\/p>\n
